Project Brief
The clients were drawn to Islamic design, but wanted a contemporary interpretation without excessive ornamentation. Our approach was to find the right balance between both worlds, creating a Modern Islamic home where Islamic character is present through carefully selected details, patterns, materials, and a unified color palette rather than heavy decorative elements. With a relatively compact footprint, functionality also became an essential part of the design. Every space was carefully considered to make the most of the available area without compromising comfort or visual harmony. One of the key challenges was the kitchen. The clients wanted the openness and connection of an open kitchen while still having privacy when needed. We developed a flexible solution that allows the kitchen to transition between open and closed, while remaining an integrated part of the overall design. The result is a contemporary home with a clear identity, where functionality, simplicity, and subtle Islamic influences work together naturally.

Design Approach
Modern Islamic Balance The concept is built around balance rather than ornamentation. Clean contemporary lines form the foundation of the spaces, while subtle Islamic references introduce character through geometry, detailing, materials, and repetition. A consistent palette flows throughout the home, visually connecting the different areas and creating one cohesive identity. Rather than treating Islamic elements as decoration, they are integrated into functional architectural features, allowing the design language to feel natural, modern, and timeless.
